G2G Now is a voluntary mobile app provided by the Western Australia Police Force and the Northern Territory Government to help people subject to a quarantine or isolation direction show their compliance quickly and easily by performing in app check-ins. This is done by taking a photo every time a check-in request is sent. The number of check-in requests sent varies across app users as does the schedule they are sent on.
For the best experience with G2G Now and to reduce the likelihood of a police visit, phones must not be put on silent.
It is highly encouraged that you use G2G Now if you need to quarantine. People choosing not to use the app will be monitored by the relevant agency for each state, including with phone calls and in-person visits.
